FAQs

Do you use practice any non responsive sleep strategies?

No, I don’t use any form of non responsive sleep strategies when supporting infant’s and their families with their sleep struggles. This includes, cry it out (CIO), controlled crying and the Ferber method.

Due to the nature of my work with making changes to your child’s sleep there may, at times, be occasions where your child gets upset (a perfectly natural way in protest to change!), but it is important to remember that crying is a form of communication . Through my approaches, children are supported through upset and change with responsiveness and reassurance.

Do you offer any in person support?

I will soon be offering consultations either at your home or mine if you would prefer to talk in person rather than over the telephone or Zoom.

I am also available for speaking opportunities on infant sleep at your event. Please email hayley@thenapnook.co.uk if this is of interest to you. I would also love to hear from you if you would like to work on any collaborations.

I will also be running infant sleep workshops around Bristol. Please check back soon for more information.
